Terms & Conditions

Last updated 26 October 2026. Version 2026-10-26.

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between Supplier Share Holdings Pty Ltd (ACN 702 408 366) ("Supplier Share", "we", "us") and the organisation that holds a Supplier Share account ("you"). The person who accepts these terms confirms they are authorised to accept them for that organisation.

2. What Supplier Share does

Supplier Share is a data chain. It lets a producer share emissions results with the organisation it supplies, and lets that organisation pass results on to the next organisation in its supply chain.

Each share is a decision by the organisation sending it. The organisation receiving a share decides whether to accept it, and accepts any later new version, withdrawal or deletion before it changes that organisation's figures.

3. Accounts, roles and invitations

Each organisation account has an Owner and may have Admins and Members. The Owner and Admins can share, attach and allocate results, delete results, invite or remove suppliers, export data and change organisation settings. Members can view the organisation's data and enter data.

You are responsible for who you invite to your team and to your supply network, for keeping sign-in details and authenticator codes secure, and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

Invitations are personal to the person they are sent to. Do not forward them.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • upload data you have no right to share, or data you know is false or misleading;
  • use Supplier Share to break any law, including privacy, competition and consumer law;
  • try to access another organisation's data, test or bypass security, or overload the service;
  • copy, resell or build a competing service from Supplier Share or its data, except your own data;
  • upload malicious code, or personal information that is not needed for the service.

5. Your data

You own the data your organisation enters or uploads. You give us a non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process and display that data only as needed to run Supplier Share for you, including sharing it with the organisations you choose to share it with.

When you share a result, the receiving organisation may use it for its own reporting and records. A receiving organisation keeps any copy it has already downloaded, even if you later withdraw or delete the result.

Supplier Share is not your record keeper. Keep your own copies of anything you rely on for reporting or legal obligations.

6. Accuracy of data

Producers and buyers are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data they enter, upload or share, and for the methods they choose.

Supplier Share does not verify, audit or assure any figures. Supplier Share does not calculate emissions. Where a result was calculated by an external calculation service, it was calculated by that service, not by Supplier Share. Supplier Share shows totals and aggregates only by adding up figures that organisations have shared.

7. Confidentiality

We keep your data confidential and only disclose it to the organisations you share it with, to our service providers who help us run Supplier Share, or where the law requires it.

If you receive another organisation's data through Supplier Share, you must use it only for your own supply-chain reporting and must not disclose it further except as the law requires or the sharing organisation allows.

8. Intellectual property

We own Supplier Share, its software, design and content (other than your data). These terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you. You may use Supplier Share only as these terms allow.

If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.

9. Fees

Supplier Share is free for producers. Fees for buyer organisations will be agreed separately before they apply. We will give you notice before introducing or changing fees.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account if it breaks these terms, if it is needed to protect the service or other users, or if the law requires it. Suspension takes effect immediately, and while an account is suspended no one in it can sign in or download its data. Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will tell you that we have suspended the account and why, and how the problem can be fixed so the suspension can be lifted.

Your Owner can close your organisation's account at any time from Account → Security. Download your organisation's data first. After closure, sign-in stops. For 30 days after closure your organisation's data is kept and can't be permanently deleted, so an accidental closure can be reversed by contacting us. After that, we keep or de-identify data as set out in our Privacy Policy.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where our liability for failing to meet such a guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

Subject to the paragraph above, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from data that organisations enter or share, and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period (or AUD 100 if you paid nothing).

12. Indemnity

You indemnify us against loss from claims by third parties to the extent the loss is caused by data you upload or share without the right to do so, or by your breach of these terms. Your liability under this indemnity is reduced to the extent we, or anyone acting for us, caused or contributed to the loss. Except for loss caused by your fraud or wilful misconduct, your total liability under this indemnity in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in that period and AUD 1,000.

13. Changes to these terms

Each version of these terms has a version number. If we change them, we will publish the new version here, and the next time someone in your organisation signs in they will be asked to accept it before continuing. We record which version each person accepted and when.

We will give at least 30 days' notice of a material change, by email to your organisation's Owner and on the service, and a material change takes effect no earlier than 30 days after that notice. Changes that only correct errors, or that are required by law, may take effect sooner. If you don't accept the new version, you can close your account before it takes effect, and you won't be bound by it.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Each party submits to the courts of Victoria and the courts that can hear appeals from them.
